What is the best way to make ice cream without an ice cream maker?
I’ve been waiting for my ice cream maker for weeks. I really want to make some mint chocolate ice cream for my husband who just arrived back home from a long deployment. Thanks!

Mix all ingredients as directly and pop into your freezer. You’ll have to stir it frequently, say every 1/2 hr until it is quite firm.
You’ll probably find that your icecream will be a little crystally (ice).
Nothing beats a proper icecream maker. If you do invest in one I would recommend one that is also a chilling unit rather than one of the models where you freezer the bowl beforehand.
