If you own a new HTC 10 or some of the other devices of the company, released recently, the news is good – the manufacturer provides a staged update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
The process will start in the last quarter of the year, first from the current revision of Android will benefit unlocked version of HTC 10. The company confirmed that it has received the final version of the software from Google and starts to makes its own settings interface.
After the unlocked HTC 10 devices are updated, the process continues with the unlocked version of the HTC One M9, followed by the HTC One A9. HTC also confirmed that available through mobile operators versions of these phones will receive the update, but this depends on the plans of the respective telecoms.
In turn HTC is promising in 90 days to update their flagship models, such as this HTC 10.
At this stage it is unclear whether other phones out of HTC 10, One M9 and One A9 will receive the update and what are the plans of the company beyond Q4 2016.
