Another day, another set of Lenovo smartphones make their way to the Indian market.

The company today launched its Moto Z and Moto Z Play modular smartphones in the country. The Moto Z Play is priced at Rs 24,999 ($375), whereas its more powerful sibling Moto Z will cost you Rs 39,999 ($600). Both the phones will be available to purchase on Oct. 7 from Amazon India and Flipkart.

The Moto Z and Moto Z Play are Motorola’s attempt at highly-customizable and “modular” smartphones trend. The phones, part of Moto Mods lineup, support a range of swappable modules that connect to the smartphone through 16 magnetic ports setup.

Some of the modules Motorola showcased today include JBL’s SoundBoost for improved audio experience; InstaShare, which lets one transform the phone into a projector; and Power Pack, which adds more battery juice to the phone. These mods start at Rs 5,999 ($90) and go all the way up to Rs 19,999 ($300).

The Moto Z features a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core-processor, and 4GB of RAM. It is available in 32GB and 64GB storage options, and both variants come with a microSD card slot should you need more storage.

For your photography needs, there’s a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and laser auto-focus with optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual LED flash. On the front end, we have a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Other features include a 2,600mAh battery with Turbo Charging support, a fingerprint scanner, water-repellent nano-coating, and NFC and USB Type-C port. There’s no headphone jack, though.

The Moto Z Play sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display, and also features a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The Moto Z Play sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K recording capability. Other features include a dual-SIM card slot with USB Type-C port, and a 3510 mAh battery with turbo charging support.

Lenovo seems to be on a spree of launching phones to India. Last month itself, the company, which is the top smartphone seller in India, launched nearly half a dozen smartphones including the flagship Z2 Plus flagship phone.
